Sluder Christmas

On Monday and Tuesday, we all went to Ft Worth to celebrate Christmas with Melinda's family. We had a great time, eating ribs, drinking wine, and of course opening more presents. We also enjoyed a friendly, slightly competitive game of Catch Phrase!!
Kendall of course put on a Santa hat and handed out gifts to everyone! She also found a new friend, Feebie! Though, by the end of the trip, I'm not sure how much Feebie loved Kendall!!

Mack Christmas

On Christmas Day, we went over to Justin's parents' house. We had another great meal; Jim got a smoker for his birthday, so we had smoked sirloin steaks! They were SO good! After that we opened more presents! Once again, Kendall had to help pass out presents!

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my family. We had a wonderful time!! Justin and my dad fried a turkey and we had an amazing lunch. We then went to Church that evening. Before and after Church, we attempted to take some family photos. That is always fun with a very active toddler in the house!

 It was raining, so the guys had to put up a tarp to keep the

turkey dry!!

Justin and I decided to do two small gifts for Kendall and have Santa bring one big gift. Any guesses to what Santa brought???

We had an amazing time with Memaw, Papo, and Uncle Ryan. We had a wonderful time and we wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for such a great Christmas!!

More Christmas Baking!

Kendall has been with my parents for the last few days. Judging by the pictures, my mom has sent, she has had a wonderful time!! I had off of work today so Kendall and I wanted to make some cookies!! This recipe is so simple and so yummy!
All you need is these:

If you are using a white cake mix, you can add food coloring to make the cookies any color you desire!
Mix food coloring with 2 cups of Cool Whip. Then add the cake mix. Last, add the egg.
Mix all together. (Mixture will be really sticky)
Roll dough into balls and roll in powder sugar.

(I sprayed my hands with Pam and it really helped while rolling the balls)
Bake in the 350 degree oven for 5 to 8 minutes.

Can you guess who was in charge of rolling the balls in the powder sugar???

Mack Christmas Fun

Every December the whole Mack clan get together for the Mack Family Christmas! This year we did it at Uncle Scott's house. Justin was in Heaven watching all the deer come in the backyard! The meal that Mimi and Aunt Christie was amazing. Later that evening we had a white elephant exchange. This year the theme was games. We had a lot of fun and even Kendall got to join in on the fun! It was a lot of driving in a very short amount of time, but we was so great hanging out with all of Justin's family. We had a wonderful time!!
