A Cowboy Couples Shower!

This weekend was the couples shower for my brother and his bride-to-be, Lyndsey. It was at one of their friend's house and had a cowboy theme. They had brisket and all the sides, drinks, and ladder golf! Everyone had a great time and it was so nice finally getting to meet Lyndsey's family.
The fun cake. It matched the invitations perfectly!

Picture Day!

Today is picture day at school! Last year for pictures, Kendall was very serious and didn't smile. So when I asked her if she will smile this time, she replied, "I will really try Mommy". I guess that is all I can hope for!! Here she is before leaving the house:

Oh No...I'm the big 3-0!!

Today is my 30th birthday. I can't believe I am thirty!! Neither can some of my patients (just ask the patient that thought I had just graduated high school). Yesterday my parents came into town while Justin and I got a couple's massage. Thank you Justin! Then my mom took me shopping and we ended up at my favorite hamburger place. As soon as we walked in, there was the rest of my family and close friends. It was a great surprise and we all had a great time!
 My pretty cake!

 The hubs and me!
 My awesome family!
 The whole family!

Today we met up with the Savarinos and the Olivers out at the lake. We have so much fun sitting
out on the deck and watching all the boats come in and try to dock!! We brought the girls with
us and they had a great time!
 Looking at the boats!
This was the best picture I could get!
Kendall was holding Addison's chin still!!
Since I didn't get a picture of them at the party, I made them take a picture
with me at the lake!

My big helper!

Last Friday I had the day off, so I kept Kendall home from school. I decided to work in the garden and it was a little cool, so I told Kendall to put some warm clothes on. This is what she came up with:

We went to Lowe's to pick out some new plants. When we got there Kendall looked around and asked, "where are the clothes"? What can I say...she is my daughter!!

A Special Tradition!

As far as I can remember, every Easter my Granny always had a dozen eggs for each grandchild to dye. Even when we were in college, if we were at Granny's house, we colored Easter eggs! This is one of my favorite memories, so I have fallowed the tradition with Kendall. This year we dyed eggs at Memaw and Papo's house. Kendall did a very good job at checking on the eggs!!

Easter 2012!

Happy Easter!!
Justin is on duty today, so it was just us girls at my parents house for Easter Sunday. It was a
beautiful Church service and Memaw cooked a great lunch. Of course we had our own little
egg hunt as well!! I hope everyone had a very blessed day!

Eating her prizes!
Uncle Ryan and Kendall playing with his phone!
 The Easter Bunny came!

We got to see Dabby at the "Fire Truck Station"
What a way to end a perfect day!

Two in One Day!!

Today was Kendall's Easter party at school today. She was looking very spring spring today!! They ate lots of treats and had an egg hunt! She told me she had yots (lots) of fun!!
The eggs wanted in the picture too!

Tonight at Grace Bible Church there was an Eggstravaganza with all kinds of activities, crafts, pizza, and of course a giant egg hunt! I decided, at the last minute, to take Kendall and we both had a great time. A couple of her friends from school were there, and it was so nice to get to know one of the mothers better!
Next time I won't put her in a skirt!
She requested Mickey Mouse, but settled on a bunny instead!
 Isabelle and Kendall being silly!
 Finding lots of eggs!

Very proud of her loot!

Spring Festival

**Ok so I have been so bad this year at keeping up with the blog! This little thing called life keeps getting in the way!! O, and I was out of the country for the last week in March. But I'll document all of that later!! Right now I'll start back at the beginning of April and try to catch up with this month first!!**

Our neighborhood hosted a Spring Festival in the park. They had a train, jump houses, a fire truck and ambulance, face painting, the Easter bunny and of course a huge egg hunt. It was a little hot, but it was loads of fun! Kendall and the rest of the kids had a ball!!
 Riding the train with Dabby
 She got some air!!
 Driving the fire truck!
Of course she chose Mickey Mouse!
She would only take a picture with the Easter bunny if I sat with her!
 And the race is on!!!

She kept her glasses on the whole time!!
