Weekend Fun

This past weekend was filled with birthday fun! Kendall's little friend from school had her birthday party Saturday morning. It was Dora themed and Rosie's mom went all out. All the kids had so much fun!!

Saturday evening Kendall stayed with Justin's parents so that we could go out for our anniversary. We tried out a little restaurant for the first time. It was so amazing. The food, atmosphere, everything. We really had a great time!

Sunday evening we met up with Mark & Amy to celebrate Justin's birthday. We ate at a new hamburger place called The Grub. It was so good! If you haven't tried it out yet, you must try it! You won't be disappointed!

A very special day!

Today is a very special day!! Today Justin turns the big 28! Happy Birthday Justin!! After work, Kendall and I had a special cake made and ordered some balloons to surprise Daddy. I cooked fajitas and we had a nice quiet family meal. Kendall really enjoyed putting the candles on the cake! She had to use the whole box!!

Another reason why this day was so special was that it was Justin's first day at his new job/career!! He has worked so hard to get this position and I am just beyond proud of him!!

It was Five Years Ago....

It was five years ago that I married my best friend. Justin is such an awesome man who is a dedicated friend, husband, and daddy. He does so much for our family. Happy 5 year Anniversary J.Mack!

Dinner and a Movie!

Friday was our dear friend Amy's birthday so we all went out to dinner to celebrate. Our friends Galan, Joan, and their four daughters. We ate at Atomi and just had a great time enjoying each other. Kendall loved seeing all her little friends again.

Today, we visited a new Church with Amy & Mark. It is completely different than I am used to, but we liked it. We think we will give it a few more tries before making a final decision. We had a nice lunch with Mark and Amy and also some new friends. We then went home and took a much needed nap!!

This afternoon we went to see the new Dr. Seuss' movie,  The Lorax. It was so cute and Kendall loved it! It was in 3D and Kendall actually left her glasses on for most of the movie! It probably helped that her friend Ina was there and left hers on!! We followed up the movie with a walk around the neighborhood. It was a great way to end a great weekend!

Girlie Weekend Fun!

Our weekend has been very fun but went very fast!! On Friday, we went over to the Mack's for dinner. We had a great time eating and enjoying each other's company!

Saturday, Justin was on duty so Kendall and I enjoyed a girlie day!! It started out with home pedicures and Kendall "fixed" my hair. Later we went shopping and Kendall got her Easter outfit. She even picked it out (with just a little of mommy's influence)! I know the time will come when it will be "embarrassing" to shop with mom, so I try really hard to cherish all of our girlie outings together!

Today Justin was again on duty, so Kendall and I went to early Church. We then went out for breakfast
and came home to watch some Mickey Mouse!! We then went out for a walk and play at the park. We had so much fun and I hated to see the weekend come to a close!!
