Weekend Fun!!

Justin was on duty all weekend, so Kendall and I headed to Houston to see my parents. We met at IHOP and had a great breakfast. We then hung out with my parents' house, took naps, and then we went to watch my dad's high school team play football.

 There was a guy making balloon animals, and of

course, Kendall chose a lion!!

Today after Church my mom made a great lunch for my brother's birthday. Kendall and my mom had also made a cake for Uncle Ryan. Kendall had a good time putting in all the candles and helping Ryan blow them out!!

After another good long nap, we ate dinner, Kendall got a fun bubble bath, and we headed back home. To my mom and dad: thank you for a great weekend! Kendall and I always love we can come for the weekend!!

Today is my mother-in-law's (better known as Grammy!) birthday!

We still only have one!

Today I'm participating in SUYL over on Kelly's Blog. The theme today is Moms of Only Children.

We have one daughter, Kendall and she is 2 1/2 years old. Almost on a daily basis, I get asked, "When are you going to have more children?" The answer is always the same, "We're not sure". I don't know if and when more children are coming, but if they do we will be super excited to have them join our family. But until then we are just enjoying being a family of three and we are having a blast!!

Pumpkin Carving!!

To get in the Halloween Spirit, we thought it would be fun to carve a pumpkin! Kendall was Dabby's big helper and stayed right by his side the whole time!  

We let her pick out the face and of course she picked out the scary one!! Kendall absolutely loved her pumpkin.....Well until we lit it, and then she cried and said it was to scary!!

Kendall and I went to a local pumpkin patch with Monica and Jacob. Monica and I thought it would be fun to take the kid's pictures. I'm not sure why I keep forgetting just how difficult it is to take a good picture of these two! But it was fun to watch them pick out a pumpkin!!

Fun with Our Phones Monday!

It has been a few weeks since I last participated in Savanah and Erin's link party, so

Weekend Recap...

We've had another fun filled weekend! Saturday we went to a birthday party. It was Mickey Mouse Club House theme and Kendall was so excited when she saw the decorations!! The birthday boy's mommy made everything, including the cake, scenery, and pinata!! It turned out SO cute!!

Today Kendall and I met Jacob and his mommy at McDonald's for lunch. The way Jacob and Kendall played, you would have thought they don't get to see each other every day!! Monica and I just enjoyed catching up while the kids played and played.

Now it is nap time and when Kendall wakes up, we are going to meet Justin for dinner! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

A Surprise!!

Yesturday I mentioned that there was a surprise in the Mack household...

It's big....

It's red...

And it looks great in our driveway...



I never thought I would love driving a SUV so much!! My back is already loving not having to bend over to get Kendall in and out!! I have a great feeling that this beauty will fit in nicely with our family!!

However, I do want to mention our previous car. I won't lie, I did get a little sentimental as we were leaving the dealership.

Ol' Blue!

This was the first car Justin and I bought as a married couple, my nicest car thus far, and the car that

we brought our baby girl home in! Ol Blue will always have a special place in my heart!

I finally found time...

I have finally found a few minutes to sit and write on this blog!! I just realized that it's been over a week since I last updated. So here is a small recap of what has been happening in our world...

• Kendall's school being closed for a day, so she and Justin got to have a fun daddy/daughter day. The day included staying in pj's for most of the day, watching Mickey Mouse, and riding in Dabby's black truck!
• We had some friends over for dinner. Justin grilled his famous kabobs. We had a great time catching up and watching the girls literally run all over the house!!
• Justin's aunt and uncle were in town, so Kendall and I met them for hamburgers. It's always so nice to see them!!
• We got to have dinner with Justin one night while he was on duty. Kendall asks to see the lights on the ambulance every time and she reacts like it's the first time she has seen them!! I love watching her watch the lights!
• I was on call over the weekend and worked till really late. I still have not caught up on my sleep!!
• Yesterday something exciting happened in our family, but that's for another post!!

The Rest of our Weekend Fun!

Today Justin was off duty, so we just relaxed for most of the day. I'm happy embarrassed to say that Kendall and I did not even get out of our pj's after noon! It was raining for most of the morning and was cool so we opened the garage door and let Kendall play for a while. Yes, we were in our pajamas, so I'm sorry neighbors!!

After a good nap, we headed to the gymnastics gym for Ina's birthday party. Kendall was a little confused first, as to why we were at gymnastics, but as soon as she saw Jacob she was rearing to go!!

They were glued to the hip! I tried so hard to get some pictures, but almost all of them are of their sides or backs!! They were literally running all over the place until it was time to eat cake!

This was when they were told it was time to play a game.

You can see how thrilled they were!



After the party we headed over to the Savarino's to meet Justin there. We ordered Chinese and had just a great time visiting! The girls ended up next door so we could help Joan make cake balls. They are fun to make, but they are a huge mess!!

Kendall's school is closed tomorrow and Justin is off duty, so they are going to have a daddy/daughter day. And I'm going to pray that my house is still intact when I get home!!

Fun Weekend so far....

So far this has been a great weekend!! Our fun started last night when Grammy and Pappy came over. Justin is on duty and I was on call so they stayed the night in case I got called in to the hospital. Fortunately I didn't so everyone got  good night rest!!

I did leave for a little bit to visit with my friend Carrie. We were on the robot team together and she recently moved to Austin :( It was really great to catch up and to see my friend, Ashley's, new house!!

Today we went over to Sarah's house for her birthday party. We decorated pumpkins, ate cake, and played with toys. We all had lots of fun!!

Now we are settling down for an afternoon nap and getting ready for some Texas Tech football!!
