Another Fun Weekend!

Justin was on duty on Saturday so Kendall and I had a girls only shopping trip!! Since the Red Raiders were playing, we just had to dress up in our red!!

We started out getting some new fall shoes!! Next we went to the mall, ate at Sonic, played at their little playground, more shoe shopping, and ended with a train ride around the mall!! We also got a pedicure (well, I got the pedicure and Kendall got her toes painted).

Today after Church and lunch with Grammy & Pappy, we headed to the pet store to buy some fish for our new aquarium! So far the fish love their new home, and Kendall loves them even more!!

After a very nice long nap, we went to visit some friends. It was a great ending to a great weekend. Hope everyone has a great week!!

Two new additions....

Justin was off duty yesterday so he decided he would do some work around the house. He went to Wal-Mart to get something for the garage and came back with this...

To say that these were a hit, is an understatement!!

Kendall immediately got her "Brown bear, brown bear" book and sat down in her new chair. Here is Kendall "reading" to Dabby. She even held the book up like a teacher does!!

Kendall also loves our new aquarium. It changes colors with a click of a button and she is constantly requesting a new color! Who new a fish tank could help with color recognition?!?!  I have to admit, that I am loving our little fish tank. Now, we just need actual fish in it!!

Another Weekend of Fun

Saturday started off with a little bit of shopping! That afternoon Kendall and I went to a special 1st Birthday Party!! The mom is a dear friend of mine and it was a great party. The decorations were so cute!! (My camera ran out of battery, so most of the pictures came from my phone).

On Sunday Justin was on duty, so Kendall and I went to Church and then out for lunch!! We did some more shopping, painted our toes, and took a nice long nap. We had a great girlie Sunday!!

It's ok that I ran father today than I have in a long time and felt good afterwards!

It's ok that I have already thought about what Christmas fabric I want for my work hats!!

It's ok that Kendall knows every word to Micky Mouse Clubhouse!

It's ok that school pictures are next week, and no one will have a haircut before then!!

It's ok that I went all over town looking for Astros t-shirts to wear at the game and we aren't even Astros fans!!

It's ok that my coworker and I chased a tiny little fly around for 20 minutes before we finally killed it!

It's ok that I started the Insanity videos and almost died just doing the fit test!!

Our busy weekend!

We have had a fun, but busy weekend!! Friday night my parents came to stay with us. I let Kendall stay up to wait for them. Boy was she wound up when they arrived!!

Saturday Just was at the lease getting it ready for hunting season, and I was working all day (got to love being on call). Kendall had lots of fun "baking" with Papo, going to the park and grocery shopping. She even helped Memaw mop the floors!!

Saturday night, Kendall spent the night with my MIL. Grammy and Kendall visited Justin's dad at the fire station. She had lots of fun on the fire truck!! Let's just say between the two sets of grandparents, Kendall got good and spoiled!!

Today Justin and I went to Houston to participate in a 5k race honoring the military, policemen, and firemen. We joined some of the guys that Justin works with. Justin and I started out running together but he ended up beating me by 4 minutes!! I know I can't believe it either. But I just want to point out that I was running on one hour of sleep!!  It was really neat, and humbling to see all of the servicemen there. They will always have a special place in my heart.
I had my camera with me but it never made it outside the truck, so I didn't get any pictures.
