End of Year for Gymnastics!

Tonight was the last day of gymnastics for the school year. It was a little rough for the first couple of weeks, but once Kendall got used to her teacher, she has really enjoyed it! She loves to do somersaults (and is really good at them too!) and jump on the trampoline.
This week they had a beach theme and played on bouncy slides. They also had a little rewards program for all the kids.

A Special Visit from a Special Friend

One of my dearest friends came to visit us with her precious baby, Kayla. Kari (known as Aunt Kee Kee around our house) and I used to work together until her family moved to Kansas. We don't get to see each other much, so it's always so nice when we can get together. She had sweet Kayla in March and this was the first time I got to see her! Kendall loved Baby Kayla. However she kept wanting to touch her head. When I said to be gentle, she would say, "I'm just petting her Mom".  Somehow I didn't get a picture with Kari, but Kari got some cutes ones of me with the girls!

Pool Time!

After Church we went over to our friend's house. It was so hot that we decided to get out the pool and let the kids swim. I didn't have Kendall's suit, so we borrowed one from Addison. This was the first time Kendall wore a two piece. Though she looked pretty cute, I don't think I'm ready for her to wear a two piece any time soon!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Mother's Day 2012

I'm so blessed to be the mother of this little girl! Though she may test my patience (sometimes on a daily basis), she also teaches me how to play more, work less, and just enjoy us being together. I also want to say a special thank you to all the mothers in my life. You all have made me who I am and I love you all so very much!!

Shopping Fun!

Mawmaw and Aunt Kelley were in town for the weekend, so Kendall and I met up with them and Grammy to do a little shopping. We met at Jason's Deli for lunch and then headed to Charming Charlies. Man I do love that store!! Afterwards, we went to the mall to look around. Kendall had a great time and it was so nice getting to visit with Mawmaw and Kelley!!

First Friday

In downtown Bryan, there is what they call First Friday. It happens on the first Friday of every month ( I bet you couldn't guess that!). We have lived here for five years and this was our first time going. I'm not sure why we waited so long, because we had a blast! We ate at one of our favorite Mexican food restaurants and then walked downtown and enjoyed all the festivities. They had face painting, a balloon animal maker, bands, and an outdoor movie. The weather was perfect and we had a great time just walking and enjoying family time!!
